Hi, my name is Elizabeth. I am a UX professional with a Master's in HCI and over seven years of professional experience, emphasizing using data-driven rationale from UX research to inform intuitive and user-centered UI designs on industry best practices.
I graduated in November of 2014 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, but during my first graphic design internship, I learned that UX was my calling. In March 2017, I graduated from the Human-Computer Interaction Master of Science grad program at DePaul University. I love technology and people. I am compelled to learn about what motivates people and why they act the way they do to help me design a product they will love.
I have experience working as a user experience designer for many industries. I've worked at a tax company, multiple healthcare companies, and advertising companies. My process adjusts based on the timeline and requirements; however, I try to always build wireframes, prototypes, sitemaps, research, journey maps, and polished designs for products from ideation to successful launch.
I have learned that while each company is extremely different, I like the overall goal of helping people and designing complex information in a way that is easy to understand. I also love thinking about accessibility. My passion for technology and creating outstanding work that users want to utilize is what makes me exceptional at what I do. I always try to exceed expectations in every project that I work on because I love my craft and have high standards.
